Mail your gift to:
Northwestern Media – Faith Radio
P.O. Box 130517
Saint Paul, MN 55113
Bank Checks: We graciously ask you to set up your giving on our website in lieu of requesting bank checks. What’s “Ongoing Monthly Giving”, “Recurring Giving”, “Sustained Giving”, “TFN Giving”, and how does it work?
There are a lot of names for monthly giving programs. Regardless of what you call it, it is the most cost-effective way to contribute to Northwestern Media. Your monthly gift by credit card or from your bank account ensures your gift will be charged each month until you notify us you want to make a change to that agreement.
Many donors want to know which form of giving is the most cost effective. ACH/EFT gifts have minimal processing costs so more of your financial support goes to the ministry’s efforts. To sign up, Click on the DONATE NOW button at the top of the page.
I have questions about my giving:
We have a centralized Gift Receipting department that you can call toll free 855-448-3269 or locally 651-631-5348. Our normal business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm CST.
You can also email us at: [email protected].
Donations received after a pledge has been given will automatically apply to any remaining pledge balance.
Is my gift tax deductible?
All Northwestern Media stations are a ministry of University of Northwestern –which is a 501c3 not for profit organization. Therefore, your gifts are deductible unless otherwise noted on your gift receipt.
I notice that University of Northwestern – St. Paul (UNWSP) appears on all giving records. Is my financial gift being used by UNWSP or by Faith Radio?
All of our stations are owned by UNWSP; therefore, all financial documents are issued in the name of University of Northwestern – St. Paul for IRS/tax purposes. But be assured, your gift supports the Faith Radio Network.
What is the EIN number for the station?
All of the stations in the Northwestern Media Network are operating under the University of Northwestern’s 501 c 3 registration. The EIN is: 41-0711610.
Is my gift eligible to be matched by my employer?
Maybe! Each employer has their own criteria as to gifts they will match.
Your gift to one of the stations in the Northwestern Media Network may qualify to be matched because it is a ministry of University of Northwestern – St. Paul (UNWSP).
Visit your employers’ Human Resources Department for the necessary forms to initiate Employer Matching Funds. On the form you should identify the contribution is for University of Northwestern (not Faith Radio). Our accounting office will make sure to attribute the gift from your employer to your local radio station following any restrictions set by your employer.
Do businesses and other nonprofit organizations support the station? Are they replacing donors?
We are listener funded and rely on gifts from friends just like you to continue to carry on the ministry.
We do have business owners and local ministries that are friends of Northwestern Media and choose to support us through their business rather than through their personal accounts. Less than 10% of our revenue comes from business sponsors.
How is my financial contribution used?
Your gift is used to maintain our hardware & software as well as the administrative expenses to ensure your station is broadcasting a clear signal with the message of God’s unfailing love for each of us. Be assured your gift is used to support the Faith Radio Network.
Northwestern is a 501(c)3 organization. Donations are tax deductible. Please contact a tax professional for information on deducting such a donation.
