My mom is someone who I am truly proud to call my own . She and my father have been in a 45 year relationship and have raised 5 children, all to know our Heavenly Father. 13 years ago she suffered a stroke that nearly took her life. Since then, those 13 years had been a hard up and down struggle as she battled with accepting a new way of living, rediscovering her worth, rebuilding a new relationship with God as well as those around her. She has truly shown her husband and children what it means to persevere, not give up ,try again, and mostly, seek God first and His will .
