Merry Christmas!
Grab your cup of cocoa and listen to our friends tell their Christmas stories on our special holiday podcast. It will warm your heart and brighten your day. Despite the ongoing pandemic, Christmas is not cancelled!
During this holiday time, take an hour to decompress, exercise, spend quiet time with the Lord and practice gratitude. Keep your body, mind and spirit calm and centered on the reason for the season.
Also, pray for those who have empty chairs at their Christmas table. Especially, pray for the 140,000 children who have lost a parent to COVID. May God’s presence be with each of them.
Despite the pandemic, we have reason to celebrate. We celebrate the greatest gift ever given. In the quiet of a silent night, all was calm, all was bright. The sent One had come!
As you think about that silent night, look at the lights on your tree. They are a reminder of how light shines brightest in darkness. “O holy night, the stars are brightly shining. It is the night of our dear Savior’s birth.” God entered our lives in the darkness of the night. He is the light of the world. Christmas reminds us that even when things seem dark, we can trust the everlasting light. Rejoice! Christmas is here!
