I’m so grateful for the consistent, fervent messages to handle this covid season with GRACE for everyone – especially those we disagree with – that Pastor Sean has given to our church family ever since the beginning of March when we had no idea how this year would go. He is a pillar of calm, humble, fatherly strength who challenges us to live lives worthy of our calling and to seek to know the inexhaustible Jesus more and more so we attain the John 10:10b life that Jesus promised us. He is abundantly patient with church members who want their opposing covid preferences to be church policy and he and his wife managed the online season of services incredibly well during March-July. Recently he put in place in-person prayer times for the months of August and September, Monday-Friday from 5-6pm, so church members could pray together for the first time in months. He and his wife take time to maintain a strong marriage and they are deeply invested in their four daughters’ lives. They take seriously their call to meet many needs of our church members and are taking on small business opportunities to make a little extra money that goes directly to our church building fund. They truly pour out their lives in service to their family, to us, and to our community.
